The awarding of the Brunei Darussalam State Honorary Medals and Long Service Medals, PKL is hoped to be an inspiration to the recipients to continue to increase their work productivity to a more excellent level. On 26th May morning, 276 officers and staff of departments and teaching staff of educational institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, received the Medals in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday.

The presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister Of Religious Affairs. The ceremony conducted by the Policy and Strategic Division in collaboration with the Administration Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, was held at a hotel in Gadong.
